Tap Locate to track your position. A blue arrow will appear and rotate to show your direction of travel.
The map will center on your location once, allowing you to freely drag the map afterwards.
Tap Stop Track to hide the arrow and save battery.
๐ 2. Adding Records
When you drop a pin, a checklist form opens.
Fill in the Plot No. and Plot Notes at the top.
Type the Species, Count, and Remarks.
Tap + Add Species to continue adding birds to the same location.
Tap Save when finished. (Duplicates are merged automatically!)
โ๏ธ 3. Editing & Deleting
On the Map: Tap any saved pin to view and edit the checklist.
In the Table: Use the + and - buttons to quickly adjust counts, or tap Edit/Delete.
๐ 4. Backup and Restore
Tap the Backup button to instantly copy all your raw survey data to your clipboard.
Paste this into Notes or WhatsApp during your survey as a safety net in case your phone browser crashes.
Tap Restore button and paste the backup text to restore the data.
๐พ 5. Exporting Data (CRITICAL)
Data is saved temporarily to your phone's offline memory.
At the end of your survey, you MUST tap Export to download your formatted Excel file.
Once safely exported, tap Clear to wipe the database for your next survey.
